Delete Your Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request complete deletion of your Jufo account and all associated data at any time.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account information — email address, authentication credentials
  • Profile data — username (nickname)
  • Meditation data — all session history, streaks, total duration, coins
  • Leaderboard presence — your ranking is removed from the global leaderboard
  • Community messages — your chat messages (already end-to-end encrypted)
  • Encryption keys — stored locally on your device via iOS Keychain / Android Keystore
  • Push notification tokens — removed from OneSignal

Timeline

  • All personal data is deleted within 30 days of your request
  • Backup copies are automatically purged within 90 days
  • This action is irreversible — your data cannot be recovered

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1: From the App

  1. Open Jufo and go to Settings (⚙️ icon)
  2. Scroll down to "Delete Account"
  3. Confirm your decision
  4. Your account and all data will be scheduled for deletion

Option 2: Via Email

Send an email to the address below with the subject line "Delete My Account" and include the email address associated with your Jufo account.

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

🔒 Privacy Note: Your community chat messages are end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM). We cannot read the content of your messages at any point. When your account is deleted, the encrypted messages are removed from our servers. Encryption keys stored on your device are managed by iOS Keychain / Android Keystore and are removed when you uninstall the app.
